Class Dojo

Class Dojo is the main platform Saint Nathaniel’s use for home learning.

Regular updates about home learning tasks are posted to the portfolio section on Class Dojo. These learning tasks will be: Creative Curriculum, Phonics/Literacy, Maths, Science and Foundation Subjects.

E-Safety updates, newsletters, dates for your diary and photographs of school learning are also shared on Dojo. Teachers and parents can communicate through the messages feature.

EAL – You can translate the information into 36 different languages.

Remote Learning

In the event that remote learning needs to take place, your teacher will share work that needs to be completed on Class Dojo. This will give an overview of tasks and show when your teacher will be available for live feedback. Oak National Academy is a platform that provides free lessons and teaching resources. Their curriculum covers a broad range of subjects, from Year 1 up to Year 6, with lessons designed to complement the national curriculum.

All our pupils have their own login to Purple Mash. Purple Mash is a cloud based educational platform that provides creative tools and resources to teach core subjects like writing, coding, maths and art.

Times Tables Rockstars is an online and app-based program designed to help primary school children master their multiplication tables through a fun, game-like platform. All children in school have their own login to this platform.

BBC Bitesize is a free online study support service from the BBC that provides resources for primary school students and beyond, covering a range of subjects including Science, Maths, and English.

We use a variety of platforms and online learning sites to support and extend your child’s education. The websites below cover a range of subjects and provide your child with a variety of opportunities to learn from home.
