SEND at Saint Nathaniel's Academy

The principle that all pupils should receive a broad and balanced curriculum, relevant to their individual needs, is established in law. Every teacher is a teacher of every child, including those with Special Educational Needs or a Disability. Saint Nathaniel’s utilises different methods and tools to present learning opportunities to children and carefully differentiates tasks and outcomes to match individual needs.

High Quality Teaching aims to reduce the need for specialist support; however, we recognise that there will still be some children that need provision that is additional to or different from that encompassed by High Quality Teaching.
